Adoptees/Chloe
Chloe" is a 14 year old, very
cranky cat who has diabetes. She was placed by MEOW 13 years ago but was
returned because her owner was unwilling to give insulin injections. MEOW
strongly discourages returns, especially older cats. It took several months
with intensive effort from our supervising veterinarian to get "Chloe's"
diabetes regulated and get her adjusted to a new home. "Chloe"
is capable of holding her side of a very strong friendship as evidenced
by the affection she has for her foster mom. We can only assume her previous
human was unable to honor her part of the bargain.
